Whos all coming back for logan chieftains next year?

They get the tailback McCarty and Simpson played alot of fullback last year and 2 of the wideouts are back,thats it for the offense they graduate everyone else and also lose a fine kicker in Montgomery,,defense probably will be the strength next year losing only about half of them with Paul Wesselhoeft leading the way.....

I agree noreply,its still early and he could always comeback, but even if he didn't, it would force Wolfe to used a younger QB and it would be nice to have an experienced QB return in a couple years instead of an inexperienced senior,but Long will be missed at the other postions if he doesn't return since he has experience at reciever and defensive back

I also agree, Wolfe should start a younger QB and start to build the program with youth. One and done players will cause the program major problems year in and year out, we need to build the program with youth and develop the kids! And yes Long will be missed but this will open opportunies for other to show there talent. Anyone have an idea how many kids are in the weight room?

Don't know about that one and done QB causing problems--seems like Ironton does it well and here lately Jackson seem to put a new QB out there very often

jmo - QB is not the team .. I believe the success is in building the O & D lines.... then again I'm old school..
Logan always has some skill players to step up....

Jackson and Ironton depend on their power running games for success not much throwing the ball around down there,in Wolfes offense the QB is VERY important,,PA was able to do it ,but not many athletes come around like him.....

Except for a few years of outstanding talent which they could run the spread, Logan must go back to the power running game, but still mix in a few passes. 65% run and 35% pass and they must stress an agressive defence and an outstnding special teams in order to be sucessful. Look at the turnaround the second year coaches made at Jackson and Gallia! Again time to return to the I and Power I. REMEMBER KISS!

Isaac Lindsey is returning im looking for a big year out of him, and I think Kelly Long is coming back to play for Logan. He deserves the spot so they should wait til after Kelly is done and maybe put a younger qb in because I expect big things out of these two since no one is returning on the line it will be hard for McCarty to run with an inexperienced line.
