Federal Hocking @ Alexander 12/28

Post by gt13osu »

When the Lancers travel to Albany to face the Spartans, it's a match-up of teams that have seen an all but kind beginning to the 2010-2011 campaign. Alexander sits at 1-6, it's only win at the hands of a terrible Wellston team. The Lancers are still in search for their first win, starting the season at 0-4. You can throw out the records in this country rivalry, as it is always exciting.

This county clash features the two tallest players in the TVC, 7 foot center Chris Saylor for FH, and 6'8" dunking machine Jack Hart for the Red and Black. Both have the ability to tear down rims, but which will tear down each other when they meet on the hardwood? Find out Tuesday in Albany.

This is a must win for both teams. FH has led at the end of the first quarter in every game this year, and they play well in the 4th, but to this date have had huge lapses in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. If they can find a way to put all 4 quarters together, they might be sitting at 3-1 right now. With this being a rivalry game, I expect both teams to elevate their play and I'm sure it will be a fun game to watch. Go Lancers!

I also heard Chris Saylor would not be playing tomorrow night because of staples in his elbow. I guess he fell during the NY game. I was also informed that the Lancers haven't practiced since Wednesday. Anybody have any info on that? If that is true it's no wonder the record is 0-4.

How about the 23rd? And why practice with an assistant coach? I'm not saying it is wrong I just remember back in the day not having any days off except for Christmas day.

Fed is 0-4 because all they did was Zone after Zone and Coaches before didn't work the teams below they have one guy (rex) who can create. They haven't gotten beat bad and have been in every game

Come on Athens78. The Lancers are struggling but no way Alex beats them by 20. I look for the Lancers to pull this one out in a low scoring contest and win by 6

As much as I would like to see Fed get a win, I take ALEX by 12. Saylor has got to be more active.

This should be a good game. Two decent teams who are struggling. Fed is still trying to find an identity, and Alex is trying to build on their one win against Wellston.

Fed Hock has more depth, so I give them the edge. That big gym at the Alley eats up tired legs fast.

With saylor out it doesnt really hurt them cause all he does it hang out at the 3pt line anyways. And he's 7th why dont he just put his hands up on defense. No need to reach. But im not a basketball coach so i dont know.
