Ugly first half. Alex is up 24-9. We look like we've only practiced 2 days in a week, oh wait we have only practiced two days in the past week.

54-26 Alex. We couldn't buy a bucket or match the pressure. Nice win for the Spartans. Keep your heads up Lancers.

I think all of the newer gyms being built are 94ft

South Gallia is the next game for the Lancers Who 9 Dey. As a Lancer fan, I am disturbed and embarrassed at the performance tonight put on by Federal Hocking. This was one of the worst Varsity Basketball games I have seen in a long time.

South gallia kids will play hard for 32 min and bring pressure. Will be a good game.
Is the game in Stuart or in mercerville?

Good observation Gym Rat. FH has got to put on a game face, be disciplined and put some focus into their game. Saw this group play at Eastern in their opener and they look as though they've really gone backwards in their execution. Man-to-man with Saylor in the middle just isn't going to get it done on a lot of nights. There needs to be more flexibility in the defenses. Too many turnovers, poor fundamentals.

Heard that Saylor just had staples out of his elbow yesterday, it seemed to effect what is normally a pretty good shot, even from the outside. Looked like he had some kind of protective sleeve on it.

The Lancers appear very frustrated. Keep working and don't give up! It will take determination, and effort to get where you want to be.

I would say 6'8'' Jack Hart effected his shot as well. He had a hand in his face all night.

Yes, and I note that you failed to mentioned in your write-up in the Athens Mess about Saylor having a stitched up elbow with staples in it, and the fact that he just had them removed. You focused on his lack of scoring production and your kid out scoring him, because he didn't score. Whatever. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that Wiseman can't take any time or effort to filter out the local bias. The Mess is a friggin' joke.

I really have no interest in any local BB this year, boys or girls, but it irks the Hell out of me when I see bias in journalism. And I use the term "journalism", very loosely, when it comes to the Athens Mess.........

Kevin is on vacation, so he had nothing to do with it. I could not catch up with Coach Murray after the game, so I could not comment on his side.

You should have talked about FH's 8 for 50 performance because that's what sells the papers .

I talked about what I thought was important, which I thought was good defense by Alexander which caused FH to struggle from the field. I did mention that they only shot 19% in the first half. It was even worse in the second half. Shooting percentages were in the statistics following the article.

You did a great job. As is always the case Steely Dan thinks he knows it all. The only time he comes on this sight is to critize someone and use cuss words. Mr. high and mighty. The bottom line is the big kid hasn't had staples all year and he's been terrible. Great job on reporting and keep it coming, you'll never please some people.

First of all, from what I heard Saylor had not practiced or played since the 21st when he hurt his elbow against Nelsonville-York. Secondly, I find it absolutely hilarious when you say that Steely thinks he knows it all and you talk about him criticizing people. Quite frankly, you have posted some of the most cocky, vengeful, ignorant posts I have read from anyone on this site. You also seem to take pleasure in bringing down Federal Hocking as much as you can. All teams have up and down years. This is a down year for FH, yes. But let me remind you that the Lancers have won more TVC Hocking Basketball Championships than any team in the Division, and were without a doubt the best Basketball program in the past decade in the TVC Hocking. You seem to have convient memory loss, that or again, your too ignorant to realize it.

And when it comes to the article, I read it, and it definetly sounded bias to me.
