Re: Blake Justice- peebles
Anyone have the top 5 or so points scorers in Peebles history, i think there could be more than one Justice on that list

Tribe, you are right about Andrews point total. I just pulled the stats from wearetheindians.org. I guess I'll blame jchitwood for that one lol.TribeManiac10 wrote:Andrew Seaman finished with 1332pts.peeblesfan97 wrote:1. Blake Justice 1730 and counting-yr. 2011

Re: Blake Justice- peebles
don't forget that before 1988 there was no 3 pt. line. so there is the 3 point era and the pre 3 point era.
Re: Blake Justice- peebles
Does anybody know his career FG% and shot attempts? I think it would suprise people!
Re: Blake Justice- peebles
i am sure his 3 point percentage is excellent or akron would not have recruited him. he could play a role for akron like redford does for xavier when he is healthy, you can't help off of him or he will light you up.

Re: Blake Justice- peebles
I am sure you are meaning that in a good way "jayhawks" so I decided to provide that information for you! Blake is shooting 52% from 2pt land, 39% from beyond the arc and 75% from the free throw line for his career. (via Maxpreps) Also looked up last years Peebles graduate Andrew Seaman while I was there and he shot 53% from the 2pt., 38% from the 3pt. and 72% from the line in his career. North Adams phenom, Kraig Unger, shot 57% from 2pt, 41% from 3pt. and 81% from the line during his junior and senior years, however Maxpreps did not have his sophomore and freshman year stats so I am sure that his OVERALL percentages would be somewhat less than that! So overall I'd say that Blake is doing VERY WELL!!! Keep up the hard work Blake!!!!jayhawks wrote:Does anybody know his career FG% and shot attempts? I think it would suprise people!
Re: Blake Justice- peebles
I was just curious. I wouldn't put much faith in maxpreps because the stats are put in by coaches (justice), if i had to say these numbers would be MUCH lower.Just my opinion.
Re: Blake Justice- peebles
"He won't even get passed Paul Cluxton"
#1 One of the worst attempts at an insult ever.
#2 "passed" or "past"

Re: Blake Justice- peebles
kills me that any grown man can try to insult a KID??...only thing blake has ever done is play ball and excelled at it......poor kid has been bashed for years now for being good......go to a big city game and watch how their "great" players conduct themselves.....blake is a humble kid who just wants to win...........you see his face when he missed the layup the other night at the end of the game??? i guarentee he would of gave back everyone of those 42 pts to have that one layup................. and all this is coming from a manchester fan, just because you follow a certain team or whatever, doesnt mean you also cant acknowledge a great ball player
Re: Blake Justice- peebles
if he avgs 25/gm and plays atleast 17 gms..that would put him 27th on the all-time list with 2,155 right ahead of cluxton.......people can say this and that about blake.....but this is a southeastern ohio forum, cant we all take a little pride in a kid making it this high on the list from our region??

Re: Blake Justice- peebles
Yeah is that really an insult??????He won't even be the top scorer in SHL history?LOL...Hopefully I can make the rematch, but if not I look forward to seeing both Manchester and Peebles at the Convo!
Re: Blake Justice- peebles
Yeha, I've been pretty lax on updated the stats on the site...sorry about Andrew's totals being wrong.

Re: Blake Justice- peebles
Hard to believe the jealousy in this thread. Anyone who knows and loves the game of basketball knows you can love your own team but give kudos to a great player for another team. My guess is these are kids who either never played or didn't see much time off the pine.
Re: Blake Justice- peebles
Jimmy Chit, no problem on Andrew's stats and you do not have to apologize. Blake is an awesome player and a very good friend of Andrew's. They were close in grade school and remained that way thru high school and still today. Manchester should be happy to have won the game at the Mcdonalds Holiday Classic and let it go at that. Probably a jealous kid who knows no better. Good Luck Blake and continue to play hard as well as all the Indians. We are with you thru good and bad.
Re: Blake Justice- peebles
Blake's a great kid, great player, who wanted the ball Tuesday night because he wanted to put the team on his back and win...not because he gave a darn about school records. I'm glad we have a player of his caliber, and history will show he's definitely one of the greatest players from Peebles, and SE Ohio.
Re: Blake Justice- peebles
The reason you won't see freshman stats for Kraig Unger is because he played freshman and jv his freshman year. He didn't start varsity until his sophomore year and I doubt his numbers would go down as he was deadly from outside during his sophomore year although his shot attempts would have been less.haverightsto wrote:I am sure you are meaning that in a good way "jayhawks" so I decided to provide that information for you! No problem with the stats, I was just kidding around. Are Josh and you still working on adding more recent stats to the site?jchitwood wrote:Yeha, I've been pretty lax on updated the stats on the site...sorry about Andrew's totals being wrong.
