i will take southern also. don't know what is wrong with fed. hock. seem like they have a decent group of kids playing for them. as far as southern goes i would take the Manuel kid on my team any day. that kid is a solid and steady player.

The Lancers nearly pulled out an upset @ South Gallia on Tuesday. I say they'll finish the job this time. FH by 5.

This game can be heard on Power 105.5-FM in Athens, with Brian Boesch on the call. Pre-game coverage begins at 7:45, with the tip at 8.
You can listen live by going online to http://athensi.com (click on the WXTQ FM link on the page's right side).
Thanks, and good luck to both teams!

FH needs to stay focused and take this one home. Outside the Alex game (where they forgot to show up) FH has been in every game they've played so far and led most at the half. FH must learn to take care of the ball and not take any quarters off.
Go Lancers!
Go Lancers!

Congratulations Lancers!! Now keep pounding and improving. Shoring up some fundamental issues and cutting down on turnovers can launch you into a new season. This team is a group of fighters and They're not giving up!!
Go Lancers!! Lancer Pride!

Congrats FH. @ Trimble Tuesday, and vs. Morgan Saturday. Beating Trimble on the road would be enough to turn this season around for the Lancers.

Re: 1-7 Southern @ Federal Hocking
The game was too close! The Lancers were getting tripped throughout the game with NO calls and they still pulled out their first win. Great job!!!!!! Hopefully tomorrow night they can do the same to the Wahama White Falcons in a make-up game with a freshman game to start the night off. Austin Russell had a huge game along with Ryan Rex, Jon Skidmore, and Shawn Parsons. The rest of the supporting cast do great too. Good Luck Tomorrow night. Go Lancers!!!!!!!

If there were no calls why did three starters for Southern foul out? This game was called fairly for both teams, it was at your place, you won, so please give us a break on crying about the officiating.
Re: 1-7 Southern @ Federal Hocking
I listened to this game last night on 105.5. I bet when you look at the box score you will see around 50 fouls called. In the last quarter and overtime it was like no one could take two dribbles without a foul being called. Does anyone go to watch a free throw shooting contest? As the announcer said "These whistle savvy referee's" Congrats on your first win Lancers. Quick turnaround to play a very good Wahama team tonight.
