Jackson Vs. Wellston
Re: Jackson Vs. Wellston
Are both mid-season free agent acquisitions playing in this one for Wellston?
Re: Jackson Vs. Wellston
Did the Wellston team have any say in allowing those players to return?
I was just curious...

Who knows.....I heard one of the heralded mid season additions played this weekend at the National Hoops Classic and that the other one was on his way back from a football combine in Texas.....he may or may not be on the team, depending on how much homework he has to make up. There's also talk that the tuba player in the marching band might be thinking about joining the team this week too. But he'll be playing for only a week because he's getting his wisdom teeth pulled next week and probably won't feel like showing up.
They've set a pretty silly precedence at Wellston.

They have battled all the teams this year. But when it comes time to play Wellston they are all friends. The boys on both teams will forget about their records and will come to play basketball.
I think Wellston might b having some internal struggles of their own according to some of the threads on here.
Good luck to both teams tonight. Remember its your high school years, not the parents or the fans. Play ball, have fun and most of all enjoy.

First of all Wellston has won 4 out of 5 --- three in a row.
Second - no internal problems -each member of the team is playing very hard and for each other
Third - the tuba player would make a great addition. He can really shoot the three from what Ive heard.
