2011 Jackson ironmen

Here is the official 2011 schedule for the Ironmen. Looks like two Saturday games this season against Wellston and Warren. Brutal road games at Logan, Ironton, and Chillicothe and a pretty challenging schedule overall, especially with the addition of St. Charles.

So there for the Warren game falls on the sat of the apple festival during the parade I bet ppl are gonna be happy about that.

It is Warren's home game, they control the schedule and scheduled it that way, they have their big Fair night on Friday night. A big tradition in wonderful Warrior land.

Wow. I hadn't even thought about that being during the Apple Festival. That's definitely not gonna make a lot of people happy.

I know the Jaycees were very unhappy that Warren refused to change the date or let Jackson host the game. Either gonna hurt Jackson's presence at the game or the attendance at the Apple Festival for the parade.
Anyone know the date for the Ironmen VS Wheelersburg 7 on 7?

It seams like we never host the apple bowl witch is really annoying cause that would cause a huge turn out to the game and we could prolly completely feel the stands and have alumni stadium rockin.

I'd like to know this as well. Anyone have the summer schedule?

2nd Scrimmage is against Burg, but no 7 on 7 against them. I was told they have a 7 on 7 with Washington Court House and two other teams (Minford?, but I know not Burg) sometime during the second week of July.

Interesting to see a 7-on-7 involving Court House. They've been pretty good recently.

I see Gallia Academy in a similar boat. If I were Jackson, I might think about contacting the MSL and see if they were interested. It might be a little bit further travel, but not as much as you might think. All of the MSL Buckeye schools are similar to Jackson in size and football competitiveness.
