Being independent you can't schedule as you choose...you can only schedule those who have openings AND want to play you.

As for getting more computer points Jackson has never missed the playoffs due to their scheduling since the OHSAA began allowing 8 teams from each region back in 1998.

In fact, I would argue it is much more difficult to schedule as an independent.

Ironmen football is on the up swing. There are 4-5 strong classes back to back coming thru now. The future of Ironmen football is very bright. Go Ironmen !!!!!

Apparently ole Zipper doesn't think much of the Ironmens performance during the 7 on 7 but I haven't seen where there has been anything posted to confirm his opinions. I've seen two threads where he's made it a point to let people know that the performance was less than steller. Maybe ole Zipper roots for another team! Anyway good luck.

I'm assuming that they'll be doing an intra-squad scrimmage along with contests against Meigs and Wheelersburg.

Confirmed that there will be a red and white scrimmage. It may not always be a full O against a full D but there will be one.
