free throws were the difference
Jackson had opportunity after opportunity to go up 3 or 4 points and kept missing free throws...several different players
Logan just kept calmly making their free throws
Jackson @ Logan 1/15
Re: Jackson @ Logan 1/15
The ability to make your free throws was the final factor in Logan winning IMO. As it has been said "the team that makes their layups and free throws usually wins" That is pretty simplified but does come in to play a lot. Logan was 11 for 11 in the 4th.
Re: Jackson @ Logan 1/15
JV score was Logan 49-44 in a prolonged game with lots of fouls. I see from my notes that 11 for 11 on FT must be right. I had down she made one for two at 1:52 left, but yet my running score shows Logan went from behind 48-47 to ahead 49-48 at 1:52, and my players scoring totals didn't add up to 57 either. So I must have neglected to put an X in the 2nd FT attempted circle on my sheet at the 1:52 mark. I agree that free throws and bunnies are key - if you don't shoot well there, your team is in trouble.

Looking at the league standings Warren has moved into 3rd with 2 league losses. That will be up for grabs the 20th as Warren travels to Marietta still playing in the first half of the season due to a snowout. IMO Warren will have to play a great game to get the win but that is why talk is cheap and they play the game. I guess from my perspective it would be nice to see Warren come up big.

The snowout game between Logan/Chilli will be played at Logan on Feb 7th. That means that Logan travels to Chilli on the 2nd and then plays them at home in their next game the following Monday.noreply66 wrote:When will the Chillicothe/Logan game be made up?
