Congrats Peebles. To bad all the players couldn't see floor time. sad

Not everyone always gets to play. I imagine warmups were awesome for all.
Re: Peebles vs. Fairfield @ O.S.U. 1/23/11
True about warmups but up over 20...less than 3 min to go...get em in I say. Big stage like that...should get em in with that lead

Marietta was looking at him tonight. Also heard he was getting some interest from Mount St. Joe's, Wilmington, Rio Grande, and Shawnee St.sparky wrote:are any small schools looking at countryman?

Blake and Andy both played really well tonight finishing with 28(1826 career now) and 25 respectively. Jake got in foul trouble early and had to sit out most of the first half and finished with 8pts. Not sure on exact pt totals for anyone else...AJ did a good job off the bench and finished with around 5 or 6pts(if anyone knows for a fact post it..would be appreciated). Fairfield played a mediocre game all around. Cox was rendered pretty much ineffective the first half but chipped in some pts late. Rolark was the Lions' MVP in my mind tonight...lights out from downtown hitting multiple threes and really was the main factor in the score being as close as it was. Highest lead for either team on the night was +24 I believe for Peebles at one pt in the second half. You could almost credit Cox with 2 dunks tonight....his only two points in the first half was on a layin in which he dropped the ball in the basket with his hand, and part of his forearm, over the rim and his second was a pretty nasty two handed jam off a fast break in the second half.

It would be great if he and Andrew could get the chance to play together again there...or maybe go to conference rival Wilmington and have some great showdowns.peeblesfan97 wrote:A Marietta scout was setting a few rows up from me this eveining at the schott.TribeManiac10 wrote:Marietta was looking at him tonight. How about showing up at game time and paying $12 for a ticket. I realize this is a classic but after the first two games are over couldn't they cut the price for the poor appalachians. First time seeing Peebles play this year. Really impressed with Countryman.

I didn't think there was a bad seat in the house. It was really a neat experience for the boys especially with the No. 1 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes standing and watching them play...
