last point. Portsmouth regardless of who is back has lost 4 games, and Chesapeake has lost 1 by a single point. Not to mention that you lost to Chilli and Warren on this list, yet all of the Trojan fans are jumping their team over Warren and Chilli. Don't you have to beat those teams first before you can jump them?

ok we lost to chilly at chilly by 10 withut bendoph and turnovers killed us i agree right now they should be in front of us because they beat us!! but i dont see this team losing another game with bendoph at point... however i cant say nothin really about peake becuz i havent seen them play this year.. so i guess well see turny time lol but besides ironton who has peake played???

Chesapeake has beaten Ironton twice, Logan, WV who is the defending AAA State Champions and current #1 team lost by 1 on a neutral court, Parkersburg South won by 25+, Spring Valley won by 30-40, Gallia won by 50+, Columbus Africentric won by 8-10 I believe, and Athens was a 15-20 point blowout. Every OVC game has been a 20-30+ blowout.

I am having a very difficult time seeing that Portsmouth is a 4 loss team, and Chilli has lost 2 games now, and somehow between lossing by 1 to the best team in AAA WV who imo is as good as anyone in SEO, blowing out Spring Valley by 30-40, and then thumping Ironton, we are somehow the 3rd-4th best team now. We all of a sudden got a lot worse because Portsmouth beat Ironton and now the can not be beaten, and after suffering their second loss Chilli continues to jump Chesapeake. Don't get it.

I see why you call yourself the joker  Piketon played neck to neck with Portsmouth all summer with Bendolph and Piketon was without two starters. Don't underestimate them. They know how to win games! Portsmouth won 3 games to 2 ...all games other than one was decided by single digits.

Bendolph is a solid player but you would think he is Steve Nash the way SOME Portsmouth fans talk about him.

With the schedule they play plus Coach Stiverson, do not underestimate Logan Elm.

Chesapeake could drop because their fans complain more than any other ones on this site and people like to see them do what they do best.

I don't care what you say, beating a below .500 Parkersburg South team isn't a marquee win. Beating 1-loss Warren by 14 is much more impressive.

If you're gonna keep harping on losing to Logan, then why bash Chillicothe's losses? Considering that they were against a defending state champ in Indiana and a team who reached the final four in D1 in Ohio last year. A loss is a loss, so it doesn't matter if it's by 1 or by 30, still counts the same at the end of the day. Like it doesn't matter if you win by 25 @Ironton or beat them twice by a combined 23 :)

Logan Elm's losses were to 2 teams with a combined 2 losses now and just absolutely pounded (9-3) Canal Winchester on Saturday. They don't have an offensive star this year, but you'll earn every single point against them. They've given up more than 50 points only once in their 12 games and have given up less than 40 in both losses.

Jimmy if my memory serves me right "and is has not so far this week", but Im pretty sure Piketon was not with out the 2 starters every game,I clearly re,member watching a couple of good match ups with Legg and Bendoplh, and Also Portsmouth was without one big man in at least one of them games "Tre Underwood'...but still,,Piketon is a very very good team and is capable of beating anyone on their schedule and beyond

I totally agree with you, thats why I have Logan at no.5,they are a very tough team mentally and very well coached they could beat anyone on these list on any given night anywhere and it would not be an upset.

A defending state champ with an absolutely horrid losing record at the time? And people say they're on track to winning state again? That's about as funny as saying 4 loss Portsmouth should be #1 because Bendolph is back. Prove it before you write it down. Just saying, though...

I'm not going to do a ranking because, honestly, I don't watch other schools in the area unless they play Chesapeake. I don't have the time or the desire to, and I know I don't know enough to do anyone justice. I've learned that college does that to a person. I do feel that Chesapeake is playing the best team ball that I have seen in a long time right now. Their role players play just about as big of a role as their main 3 do. Davis has done an excellent job turning this program into something special. I'm looking forward to skipping class here soon and following Chesapeake to Athens and beyond.

And to whoever said Portsmouth would beat Peake 9 out of 10 times...
