Miller Job Opening?
Miller Job Opening?
What happened to the coach? Any news on how many applications they have received or if there is a front-runner?

Re: Miller Job Opening?
is it an opening or just the fact that it is a year to year contract and it is just being posted for this year.
Re: Miller Job Opening?
Even if it was a one year contract................. schools usually don't post it unless they are looking for a new coach, they legally only have to do it internally and I'm not sure I have even seen that?
If it is open they must have someone in mind.........because it is a short window for applications.
Anyone with any news? How long has the current coach been there..........how has he done?

Re: Miller Job Opening?
Was talking with a person from Miller awhile back during a bball game and he said an assistant from Trimble is the front runner. Might have said Jr High coach, but led me to believe he would bring a few coaches with him. Didn't think much of it till I talked to a guy from Trimble a few days later who said pretty much the same thing, and added that the guy has been a head coach, and is pretty much the brains behind what has been happening at Trimble the last few years.

I didn't get a name. Was just told it is one of the current coaches on staff. So if this Duck fella is on the current staff, then I guess it could be him.

Why not? Every time there's a job opening, the Gtown crowd comes out from the woodwork screaming Duck!G W McLintock wrote:I've gotta be the first.....
DUCK ?
Duck had his chance at Fed Hock, so maybe his fortunes might be better at Hemlock. Of course, he may be going up against Paladin and Dave Jr, so that might be some real tough competition that Duck might have to overcome.......

Got it from pretty reliable source that Crooksville's OC has his final interview on Tues. I guess he has quite a staff lined up if he gets it.

They should be going after the inventer of the achey breaky defense if you ask me. He always shut down that gadget offense the Gambler runs. Several teams have contacted him about how he did it, including TVC Champion Wohama.
