MC has also been playing all season w/o one of their better big men (Pawsat).airforcejm wrote:I would say that any of the top teams in the SHL would have a good chance to beat Mason County. Fleming County and Deming (a school smaller than Manchester) both gave the Royals unexpected close games. They are too inconsistent and arent as good as they have been the past couple years. Yes, they are still a good team but they arent as unbeatable as most people think. It irks me that most people from Kentucky look down upon Southeastern Ohio schools and don't give them the credit they deserve. I occasionally browse another website dedicated to southern Ohio/northern Kentucky and it's amazing how many people get on there and say that no team in southeastern Ohio could stand up to MC.

They'll lose Michael a 4 year starter, 2 year starter Michael Carraher and starter Logan Morris along with Mark Crowe but they'll return Doc Seip (tremendous athlete) now starting as a sophomore after not playing as frosh. Gage Carraher plays a lot as a sophomore and will return along with Luke Taggert, Wes Stratton, Jon Fox, Zach Docter. That group of sophomores was very solid all the way up.......Whiteoak could have a nice year next year if those guys play together and improve as players should.

Eastern is leading Ripley by a little bit in the third...that would be an upset and a half. Then again, Eastern is de for some league wins.

Ripley 59, Eastern Brown 52. Ripley has their first single digit win since mid December.
Manchester 68, Fairfield 67. BIG win for the Greyounds.
Lynchburg 69, West Union 60...In OVERTIME! Way to be scrappy, Dragons.

North adams over Whiteoak!!!
whiteoak lead most of the game until late in the 4th. Joe micheal was benched in the third qtr, which in my opinion, allowed north adams to make the comeback. Nice win for NA, tough loss for WO.

I believe Blake Justice is at 1963 career points at the moment. The 2000pt watch can officially begin tommorow as 37pts is a possibility against a struggling Western Latham team.

Manchester is one tough team to beat at home.

Justice will probably want to get it at home......Is the Western game @ Peebles? If so it may be hard for him to get to 37 without it looking bad as they will likely have a significant lead pretty early on.

The game is at Western. If he does not get it tonight I would suspect he will get it friday against St. Patrick at home.Ironman92 wrote:Justice will probably want to get it at home......Is the Western game @ Peebles? Sparky, easy on them. They did pick up Piketon for 2 years starting next season so they are trying.

Fairfield beat Adena 90 something to 50 something
Cameron Rolark had 43 points including 11 3 pointers

Have to agree with Sparky. Peebles has an easy ride. I would think it would help them to pick up some of the tougher teams.
