AP Poll 1/31/2011

Polls are polls, BUT I like the post from a week or so ago (sorry I don't remember the poster). Gave a run down of AP rank and how they fared last year in tourney--not 100% of a predictor....not far off the mark overall!!!!!! I found that to be a good argument that AP poll may not be exact but awfully close. HOOPS lends itself to upsets as we enter playoff time! Their is a reason for the "March Madness" saying U know.........

Why do people get so bent out of shape over the AP Poll? It means literally nothing. Name recognition and well-known coaches get votes. It's the high school version of the BCS.
