... on the Ripley/WhiteOak thread it was posted Ripley knocked down 12 treys tonight - wow ... 12 threes will put you UP big in most games vs most opponents ... I'm with you I92 ... should be a great game in Peebles ... Countryman/Justice/Arey & Co. better come to play ...BOTH teams will need their "A" game to pick up the "W" in this one ...

Warren has control of their destiny for the SEOAL crown...it would be great if they could pull it off....by comparative scores during the second half of the season/margins of victory over same opponents, Warren is the 3rd strongest of the big 3....but you never know, having the 2 games at home with a sell out crowd will be an advantage for Warren....will be exciting to see how it plays out....the Chilli game may well be a preview of the district final!

I'm surprised you have 1-loss Warren at #4 Floyd? Coach Maddox may be inclined to remove you as the Warriors "No. 1 fan north of Beverly."

BTW ... How about having one of the better sectionals in your back yard their Floyd? No. 4 Warren (15-1), No. 6 Logan Elm (13-3), No. 8 Sheridan (13-2) ... High ranking tree huggers: Marietta (12-6), Vinton County (12-3) and Fairfield Union (8-8). Wow!

Talk about getting lucky. You probably won't even have to get into a car and drive anywhere until the district tournament starts ... I mean really, Athens (6-11) - which will have PG Devon Sharp back for the tourney - and Gallia (6-11) are no slouches ... Even New Lex (7-10) could prove to be a tough out.

You can check this link Pfloyd for some of your records: http://trivalleyconference.com/Schedules.html

* I seen you had New Lex at (6-9) - but their actually (7-10) ... You probably have most of them - but the link has about 30 teams in one spot you can look at and I keep it updated dailey.

Wednesday night make-up games (Feb 9th)

Wellston @ Jackson
Wahama @ Meigs (which should be a darn good game!)
South Gallia @ Trimble
Eastern @ Waterford

Disappointing loss for Logan Elm. They were not as focused as they needed to be in the first quarter, and that's dangerous against an athletic team like Hamilton Township who has got its two injured players back. They combined for 31 points. LE was down 10 multiple times, cut it down to one or two and then HT went on another run. Also puts LE two out in the MSL-Buckeye.

Why the heck does Vinton County have to go 19-0 to be on the elite eight?

Vinton County has 12wins with possibly their least talented roster yet to have more than 10wins.

Great job to all the teams that are in the covented elite eight though, all team's in it deserve good recognition.

Sheridan is still 13-2 as they were postponed on 2/8. They have a pretty tough closing stretch before tourny begins. They have New Lex (county neighbor/rival who always plays this game tough), West Muskingum, Coshocton, then close out with Maysville and John Glenn. The last weekend will decide the MVL title as those are the top 3 teams in league.
