First of all don't lump all of the RH parents in this when it was only 1-2 parents. The refs were pathetic, first game and second game. We had are chances and didn't make some easy shots, but that just happens sometimes. We all sometimes get wrapped up in a game, I guess you missed the game against Fairland and South Point when your coach came half way out on the court running showing himself, but I guess that's o.k. and I am pretty sure I heard alot of your parents yelling at the refs also. Congrats to both teams......Great game....

WOW is all I can say!!! and this is for the two fans who acted like idiots! I know that most of the Rock Hillians were embarassed by this. Now we shouldn't judge all the RH fans by the actions of a few! Although I would have called the law on those two idiots. How embrassing for their children ....at least it happened rather quickly and most fans fans didn't see it!

you're right. i apologize to all the rest of rock hill parents. you cant judge all for actions of some.its just sad it has to come down to that. i agree that the refs were bad for both sides .

It's ironic that Rock Hill fans were aggravated with Chesy refs. Chesy has been aggravated all year with Rock Hill refs.

I wasn't at our place for the boys finals, I was at Rock Hill watching the Panthers 7th grade girls lose a heartbreaker to Fairland in 2OT. But believe me, we know all about our refs. You're not hurting my feelings any. Maybe Rock Hill and Chesapeake could work out a Ref Exchange for next year so we'll each have someone new to stink up the joint.

Fairland 8th was the only team this year to dominate us in both games. They deserved the crown. Rock Hill was solid, South Point was up and down, and we could never quite figure out how Coal Grove was hanging with everyone else. But to their credit, they did. Good guard play can do that.

Awesome first game by the 7th grade South Point pointers avenging two previous losses to the Hornets. Those two losses came when we were missing a starter one game and the 6th man on the other game. needless to say it was a hard fought game by both teams ans i am sure next years games will be just as close!

The 8th grade game was just as exciting with Fairland winning on OT. Some want to blame it on the refs but from not having a kid playing in this game I thought calls were pretty even. Both teams had starters foul out. Calls were misses in both games but they were missed on both ends.

At least this year the weather cooperated and the tourney was played! Peake put on a great tournament and besides the stupidity at the end by some RH fans everything was smooth!

you know. its funny how you never hear anyone complain about a bad call when your team wins.

One of the reasons Coal Grove lost was it's inability to make foul shots one kid alone was 3 for 16. CG made more baskets , but SP made almost all of their foul shots.CG did however keep SP's leading scorer below his average but other kids stepped up to fill that gap.

Rock Hill however had their best player foul out either right before the end of the game or the beginning of the OT. But the same thing happened to Fairland. Yes this hurt but the reason RH lost was because they couldn't make 2 foot jump bank shots. One kid alone missed 5.

The refs did let the boys play but calls were even on both sides. Both teams had one player foul out for both teams.

It was a shame the display of behavior displayed at the end of the 8th grade game. Coal Grove fans lost and didn't act like idiots!
