Piketon @ Southeastern

Post by mikepike »

The perfect season is out of the question for the Streaks, but the quest for a 14-0 SVC slate remains. What lessons have been learned from the defeat to Zanesville? Can the Streaks regroup and begin a new winning streak? Will the Panthers catch the Streaks feeling down? Can the Streaks contain the recently hot Michael Brown? How high will Evan climb on the SVC career scoring list? Can I ask any more questions? GO STREAKS!!!!

Streaks will be fine...in recent years they have bounced back from good ole fashion butt kickings and played extremely well. I'm sure they will go into SE breathing fire! Go Streaks!

This is a big game for the Streaks. We need to take care of business and get it done BEFORE the last game or two in the SVC. Hopefully Vulgamore will be able to play tonight.

Wow Coach L had the Streaks looking like the team we all watched at the 1st part of the season. The Streaks were firing on all cylinders. Maybe that loss to Zanesville did do some good. The Chef wasn't buying into that idea, but The Chef stands corrected. Piketon wins 62-36.

Nice win for the Streaks! Clinches at least a share of the league title! Did I hear correctly, Piketon shot around 50% for all 4 quarters.

Was nice to see the Streaks shooters knocking down the shots. Also great post game by Brush, Farmer, Farmer, and Braniff. This Freshman Farmer kid will be a nice addition to the rotation. A true post player. :Loved it

... BIG win for the Red Streaks last night vs an upstart Southeastern team that IS playing good basketball ... Piketon ,coming off of the "schooling" by Zanesville , seems to have been "focused" or in the case of PHS "refocused" offensively and defensively ... give kudos to the coaching staff for "getting the players attention" again ... 15-1 , clinching of at least a share of another league title, post season in the distance - all is well in the Village again ... congratulations Steaks ...

As stated in an earlier post...the Streaks would bounce back. The kids responded on both ends...good to see Vulgamore back in action and the younger Farmer kid brings a whole new look for the Streaks...Where has Coach L. been hiding him? Good luck at the "U" and on the "Hill" next weekend. Two big games prior to the draw.
