Lets hear your thoughts JonWoo.

Seems like every thread you start is one word...... "thoughts"

Good way to pad your posts thou, aint it? :122249

My thoughts; Fort Frye has a tough matchup at the old Skyvue Gym tomorrow night vs Monroe Central, and the Cadets can't seem to put the ball in the hole at Waterford Elem. Gym, so Waterford just might be able to get this one.

Now you're up to bat John.  Your thoughts?

If Willie Cheatem, Farmer Yoder, and Dewey Cheatem work this game Saturday, the Cadets don't have a chance

You busted me, I have been padding my posts but that dang gone Peggy won't give me my reward points. Truth is I put all the tvc games off my pocket schedule on here for the selfish reason it is easy for me to find the scores and get some information on the games. I do also like reading some of the fans opinions on the games. Here is my thoughts, I have watched Waterford play once at Racine. They were a very good rebounding team. They have lost a couple players since I watched them but it sounds like that Miller is shooting the ball well and they are still hitting the boards hard. As for Fort Frye I haven't watched them play this year but I know they have a strong basketball tradition. I figure since I can almost throw a rock from one school to the other, that these two teams are rival opponents. That been said I look for a very close game where anything can happen. rickoshay I have a question maybe you can answer, with Waterford being in between Fort Frye and Warren I always wondered how it was determined what school a student went to? Waterford and Fort Frye especially, where they are less than a mile apart. Is the bridge a district line?

Yep, the river is the line, but with open enrolement I think some do crossover.

On the Warren side, I think it's probably township lines.

Beverly (way back in the 50's), then Fort Frye-Waterford was always the game everyone circled on the calender.

You can walk from one school to the other in about 15 minutes.

Shon Smith led the Cadets with 19, Hilverding and Eddy each had 10.

Levi Porter led Waterford in scoring.

Cadet jv's also won, forgot the score.

Evidently, the Cheatem brothers and Farmer Yoder went to Reedsville to work the Belpre at Eastern game. Those boys have to work in a couple of "out of the territory" games to change things up, and they always like working for Howie.......

And I would be remiss in not saying nice job by the Cadets, coming down the road a mile and winning their biggest rivalry game. Never easy. Congrats.

Fort Frye came out and won the slugfest tonight.Shon Smith continues to just get better every game.Scoring 20, 17, 20 the last 3 games only a sophmore I look forward to watching him play.FF has not lost to Waterford in a boys sport since Feb 2009.Last 3 years they are 3-0 Football,5-1 Basketball, and 4-0 Baseball.

Boasting about something and making a point is a very thin line, my friend. Just remember, with all things, the time will come when things won't be so rosy. All things cycle through peaks and valleys and one never wants to provide the bullets that will be turned against him when tough times come. Respect and reputation are hard-earned, but can also be foolishly squandered away with thy mouth or keyboard.

This was in by no means me trying to be disrespectful to Waterford.I was just posting the stats.I have a lot of friends from Waterford and this is a friendly rivalry.I'm sure they will have a good stretch in sports real soon.If 6-7 Tate Lang is eligble they would of won this season.Again no bad feelings towards Waterford.River maybe but not Waterford.
