Schnellfritz - I understand the frustration of not being able to see this one - I had a doctors appointment in Athens and couldn't make the trip - still don't have my energy back where it should be ... I looked up at the clock about 5 pm told my better half that they just opened the doors at the Warrior Dome ... hoping for some updates during the game from the MHS or WHS faithful ... will try to get some from those at the game thru out the evening as well ...

solid game by the marietta jv, falling by a few, but with a late rally.

talk about senior leadership, derek howe is fighting through the adversity of a sprained ankle and is dressed for the game.

After one quarter, tied at 15. Tied at 2,4,6,8,10, and 15. Marietta led 15-10. Cunningham has 16 of Warren's first 18 points. Now it is 27-19 Warren as Marietta calls time-out with Warren opening up a lead with Sewell resting.

Warren got the lead up to 29-19, then Marietta cut it to 29-26, then Cunningham scored the last FG of the half for his 18th point. Riley leads Marietta with 11. Only two foul shots so far - Warren made theirs, and Marietta missed theirs. I think there is just 3 fouls on each team.

Warren 49-41 after three qtrs. Marietta cut it to 37-36 and 42-40, but never took the lead. I'm listening to the radio so I can't speak to the contact. The radio says the refs are doing a good job and letting them play. Tigers cut it to 49-45 and time-out Warren.
