Both MC and River want to win this game... they are not worried about "showing anything." These two are big-time rivals, they'll both go hard for the "W." It means alot to the players.
As I've said on another thread, River doesn't have a rather between MC and FF. They'll play whomever is next on the schedule. The senior Pilots don't get into hoping to play one team over another, they just go play hard.

i beg to differ. i know for a fact they'd rather play MC @ MC, rather than FF @ FF. they've already beat MC on their home court once. they already know they can beat MC on their tuff. they got schooled at FF.

You are wrong, I'm sorry. I happen to really know these players and they have no preference.
Also, despite having horrible 2nd and 3rd quarters @ FF, the Pilots had the deficit to 3 points on 3 occasions in the fourth qtr. before running out of gas.

well we'll agree to disagree.
i do think if they continue to play the way they've played the last two games i think they can beat either team. I've seen half of their games this year and this is the best TEAM basketball i've seen. it looks like the light bulb has final come on, they've realized that they can't win without playing together, one player can't do it all, it has to be a well rounded team effort, the only stat that counts at the end of the night is the W or L. i think its taken some tough coaching on certain players to make them realize this

They beat a bad Beallsville team and a slumping Shenandoah team and all of sudden they are better then a team they beat them twice.Fort Frye is better then River.Yea when you play a team a lot you will win every once in awhile but FF is the better team. They are even on the perimeter with Potts,Wax,Brown, and Ramiser vs Smith,Eddy,Watson, and Hilverding. The difference is coaching and the fact that Garrett Legraen can finish around the rim.

Easy Kap. Rat said it very well. Nobody's claiming superiority or anything. River finally put all the pieces together and they look much better than at any time previous this season. Shenandoah and Beallsville were both closer to River in overall play 12 -14 days ago. River is peaking, but will have to play hard to get wins vs. everyone. Especially teams that have already beaten them.

River wants another chance vs fort frye. And I hope we see that in the ovac finals. I think they can beat the fort if they play with some fire. Like they did down there in the 4th

hopefully we get to see that matchup. if we get that matchup i'll take the pilots as its hard to beat a team 3 times in a season

Too long of a drive for Kappy boy, probably. Or he might go to Warren- Marietta game. Or he might work?

be a big game tomarrow. would be nice to see a huge crowd like back in the day. Skyvue vs. River back used to be standing room only. i don't think i'll live to see another crowd like that in R. L. Potts Gymnasium

Well if it snows I won't risk being on a road with a student. So if I cancel with my student I will drive to the game if its on.I am a very well trained driver in the snow.

Not much snow in Sardis-Hannibal area along rt. 7. There is a couple inches of new snow on the ground on the hills in Pilot country, though.
