two thoughts here!
: Panthers win by 12+
: High school students should only read not post on here. Starting rumors about students from other schools when u hide behind a screen name is not what SEOPS is about. This is a disscusion forum on the subject not a public forum to bash people. Go to topix for that, even though i don't condone it myself don't bring that crap over here to SEOPS. So FHSstudentsection or A.E. whatever you want to be called grow up! Got your name from my cousin who happens to be friends with some Peake basketball players.

PEAKE 71

Hey just hours before the game, and i can tell their is a little talk to who is better betwen players. I believe they are all great alth in thier own way. For Fairland to have a shot they do have to be on thir game, but to say they have no chance would not be right. Both good teams yes advantag chese. But it a rival game whith both teams with good players.so anything could happen good luck to both teams i hope its close.

To be honest, this may be the best team ever at Chesapeake, I think Chesapeake will have to play w/ no emotion and turn it over 20+ times to lose.

Sometimes it is all about matchups, and to be honest there is no way that Fairland can match up.

You might be right peake but still a rivel game. If fairland pack the paint and does not play man beats the presure shoots well from the outside. They have a chance, and i know thats a lot. But good teams never under estamate, and under dogs sometimes play well enough to win.

So because I don't live in SEO I am not allowed to comment on this forum. Grow up man or lady.

BTW, I have seen 2 games this season, and I saw two last season, but keep trying.

I also see a good number of these kids on the AAU circuit.

I do follow North Carolina teams, I coach in North Carolina, hence the reason I can't get back as much to watch Chesapeake.

I cheer for Coach Lafon, he's a good friend and a close friend of my family. I see no reason why I should be ashamed of that.

I guess I should apologize for taking an interest in my alma mater.

Thanks. Earp has a point, my senior year was the year that we had Fairland down something like 15-2 after 1 quarter, and then they went on a 21-0 run and knocked us off.

I just have a hard time believing that this Chesapeake team will fall victim, stranger things have happened though.

Carolina is very nice, though we are Dukies in this household :122245

Any updates?

I already admitted I was wrong.

Do I see a difference, um, yes.

An employee of RV should not be doing a RV game. That is just my opinion. Now a guy from Chesapeake doing a Chesapeake game is not good taste either, but I understand it is often difficult to get officials and I have seen officials from their home towns do their games several times. None the less, RV is still the worst place to play imo, and it has nothing to do with the fans or kids. I don't understand why you are taking it so personal.

Anyways, back to this game.
The RV employee did lower level games. Not a good thing I agree but local people do lower level games everywhere like we both said. The guy wearing the Chesapeake sweatshirt did the varsity game.

As for competing in the OVC, from 02 thru 07 I am sure RV was 5-5 or better every year. Struggled some the next two years. Not sure about last year. I think RV is currently 3-5 in conference playing at CG tonight and Chesapeake at home next week.

What is the excuse for football? 5-5 in conference is not really competitive in a not so good conference. Just saying that I believe that the parting of both parties is good for both sides. Symmes Valley would be a much better fit and an upgrade in all sports.

This is the basketball forum. 5-5 or better was good enough for 2nd or 3rd in conference. RV has been competitive with EVERYONE in conference except Chesapeake.

Symmes Valley was in the OVC at one time. Maybe you're not old enough to know how that worked out. How many conference championships do they have playing in the small school division of SOC?

That final doesn't surprise me. Chesy that much better than everyone else this year.
