Re: GREEN/WHITEOAK
I take Green in a close one. The Bobcats just always seem to be able to find a way to win. But I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Whiteoak wins.
Re: GREEN/WHITEOAK
I always thought it wasn't the size of the gym, but the time in it and how you use it.

What gym doesn't have a crowd to your back? Just because they're all on one side doesn't make any difference. It's the size of the floor that is the difference. If you can't see that, then you haven't played on large floors and then played at New Boston or East where you can't run a spread offense and it's three steps and a lay up from half court.Swanker Pine wrote:what about a crowd to your back?

Jazzhands is way off base. I used to build gyms and the big ones around here are in the 1600 - 1400. I don't know where those numbers came from?
As far as the crowd to your back, one place you have to play you have to wait on the people on the stairs to go to the other end of your bench and people in the first row can help draw up plays. I don't know if that's what smaker is talking about or not.
Green 42
Whiteoak 39

I'm not saying Clay is bigger but Clay only holds under 1300.Team Real-Tree wrote:How do you figure halftime......???? They around the same size

Don't know if Clay's floor is bigger than Green's. But at least Green's gym has lighting. When I went to the Clay/South Webster game I needed a flash light to find my seat!halftime wrote:I'm not saying Clay is bigger but Clay only holds under 1300.Team Real-Tree wrote:How do you figure halftime......???? They ain't going to do anything to the gym because of the new gym being built they wouldn't even put up new mats on the stage.jeep80 wrote:Don't know if Clay's floor is bigger than Green's. Re: GREEN vs WHITEOAK
I got a text saying to was a WILD game and WO has several players with 2 fouls.
Whiteoak jumped on Oak Hill like this early in the year and lost in the very end. They also were very very good agaisnt Peebles twice and Hillsboro....but couldn't finish it.....hopefully those type of games agaisnt very good competition will be what they need to finish off this game. Somehow it's way less pressure being down a good bit.....Green will come out full steam ahead...if Whiteoak allows the momentum shift it will be a tough finish.

Re: GREEN vs WHITEOAK
WO scored 23 in the 1st and 6 in the 3rd...need to get the momentum back! Just by past experiences over the years of watching many games....this sounds as if WO barely hangs on or Green takes a lead with about 2 minutes left and wins by making free throws......if the momentum shifts WO can pull away....but that is hard to get back.
Re: GREEN vs WHITEOAK
Symmes Valley was upset in a low scoring game by South Gallia.
Winner of this may have a slightly easier game than expected in the district semis....but then again....South Gallia has been playing much better and won for a reason.

They played very physical games against Peebles...and they beat manchester. I'm telling you, these kids get rolling they can ball.
