Peake: I voted on page 1 of this thread and was having fun with you. You didn't take the bait and I give you credit for that.

I am from South Webster and have no dog in the fight. However, I believe this year that Chesapeake would have finished somewhere in the top of the SEOAL and would have loved to watch them play Portsmouth, Chillicothe and Warren twice. Wow, those would have been some great games! Who knows what the outcome would have been? I believe that Chessy would have at least split the difference and also swept the other teams in the league.

Be patient----it will all play out in the end. Chesapeake vs Piketon will be fun to watch on the 12th!

agree on piketon.

LOL. NOt nice my friend.

I just don't follow the logic some use. Saying how great a conference is fine with me, but when you struggle with weaker teams you can't turn around and ignore them as if they didn't happen.

Just remember that this board is used by some for information, some for chest-thumping, some for passing time, and some for antagonizing! You have shown that people can push your buttons and you can bet that some will keep pushing them!

It will all play out----that is the cool part. This is not the BCS. Someone from the Southeast District will more than likely represent the area in the Final 4 (especially in Division 3). Let's hope that WE ALL will root for the SE District team when they get there!

Not that it matters but, IMO Peake would have 4 league losses were they in the SEOAL. IMO, they would have lost to Chilli twice, Portsmouth once(assuming Bendolph didn't play the first) , and split with Warren. Very possibly could have lost to Marrietta once but also could have beaten one of the other 3 one more time. So between 3 and 5 losses, I'll round to 4. They would not be middle of the pack but IMO, would not be champions either.

They do DESERVE to be the top team if that is your opinion because they did take care of business against the teams they played.

I'm just saying. Xavier wouldn't have as good a record as they do now if they played in the Big Ten. Does that mean they are any worse? No. It means they happenned to not have to play Wisconsin, Ohio State, Purdue (CHS,PHS,WHS) 2 times each. And yes, I do believe that is a fair comparison because I did not name the clearcut 3 best teams in NCAA basketball to make my comparison. I just named 3 very good team near the top, which CHS, PHS, and WHS all are in SEO hoops.

Whether or not Chespeake would have won the seoal or not,one thing is for sure, they destroy their opponents unlike any other in the seo if they are sopposed to beat you by 20 they beat you by 40, no other team takes care of their buisness like they do.

When Dime came out with his elite 8.....if i remember right Chillicothe was still undefeated.....meaning they deserved to be number 1 until beaten....pfloyd had them number 1(imo his list is really the only one that matters, sorry dat)...to me though its really not that big of a deal, what really matters is how you end up in the tourney! Continued good luck to all the SE teams the rest of the way...

I don't think anyone can say where Chesapeake would finish, and trying to do so is not even worth trying to explain. We will never know, all I know is Chesapeake is 20-0 v Ohio Teams. They have more then taken care of business all season long, and they don't make excuses when they play against weaker competition, they just destroy them.

Yeah, sure, we are Xavier, whatever. I don't really care who are what Chesapeake is, only thing I am worried about is the next game on the schedule.

Like I said before, the only reason this thread was created in the first place is because SEOAL posters had problems with Dime's poll that had an undefeated Chesapeake (who had already beaten Ironton twice I believe, Africentric, and Wheelersburg) ahead of an undefeated Chillicothe. When Chillicothe lost then it became well Chesapeake would have gotten killed by the Indiana team. It has all been one big p*ssing match. I hope Chillicothe or Warren win it all in D2, and someone from SEO brings it home in d3.

If South Webster wins tomorrow, the SOC2 will have 4 of it's 8 teams as sectional champs. That's not too bad.

I'm not trying to start anything here but we have a very good program here at Logan Elm, we had a decent regular season despite losing 4 starters from last year. I have the utmost respect for Chillicothe and Warren in d2 but Chillicothe hasn't beaten us since 2007 and we beat Warren last year at the Convo. This is the most exciting time of the year and LE is putting it all together at the right time. It should be a great game friday night against Chilli, we like being the underdog and I hope Chilli and Warren booth underestimate the Braves this year. Defense and Good Coaching always win and I think we have both, Go Braves!

Know this, no one will take Logan Elm lightly. Especially, because Logan Elm had two more points than Warren when the last buzzer sounded. LE is always a physical, well disciplined team. Right now, we have Waverly, and only Waverly to think about.
