Re: Sectional - Valley vs. Wheelersburg 2/25
I think both teams "want it", so I think that phrase is overused. Teams this evenly matched, the outcome will come down to a lucky bounce, a banked 3 pointer, a shot rolling back out of the rim. Just one little scenerio that will put you up 7 instead of up 1, off one possesion.

well crab's brother maybe since i was right about 4 points in the first half maybe i might be right about second half. shank had no responsibility to guard him. ballard spent most of the third quarter guarding him when he scored i think 15. then it was everyone else in the 4th. watch the second game and see how many balls he throws off the backboard on unsuccessful drives. tape can be eye opening.

oh so diving on a loose ball faster than your opponent, or not stopping on a play, or just giving it up on def. could have nothing to do with the outcome on a game you say is that evenly matched, hmm heart has everything to do with a game and sometimes who has the most or is willing to lay it on the line for his team can decide the outcome of a game. Trevino used to say the more i practice the harder i work the luckier i get. and didnt really ask you to critic about my comment on who wants it the most. bush league

The water will hopefully go down through the day, but everyone be careful on their way to Jackson tonight. I saw water starting to cross 335 between Wheelers Mill and Ladybug Greenhouse this morning and heard on the radio that 139 is closed at the Jackson Co. line and 140 is closed at Eifort.

Rooting for Valley in this one. Coach V does a great job, hope the boys can get over that Burg mental block and play up to their abilities! Should be a great one to watch!

yea i agree... this "who wants it more" stuff is a bit overused and is honestly nothing more than a phrase... if you can't "get up" to play in a tournament game then you probably don't have a pulse... maybe the who wants it more stuff would be appropriate for some teams/matchups... but its not appropriate for this one... both teams play hard and with heart... should be a fun one...

in some ways you have to feel sorry for the officials. neither coach is very user friendly.

54-54 2 OT...West and Yates both made 3s to send it to OT.
