Jenkins and Cooper were both starters last year, they only lost 2 players from last years team. should be a good year.

Played at Alexander tonight, Ironladies get the win 6-5 in 0 innings. Very good game to watch. Ironladies showed get team effort, great heart. Led 5-0 going into bottom of 5th. couple hard hits & minor miscues allowed Alex to tie game in bottom of 7th with winning run on 3rd and 2 outs. Ironladies get out of the inning. Manage to manufacture a run in the top of 9th to win.

Great win for the Ironladies!

first varsity home game is scheduled for friday against Athens. Then doubleheader Saturday home vinton county starting @ noon. JV played River Valley last night, Ironladies won 22-2 in 5 innings. lost 11-6 to Alexander tonight.

I finally got to watch the Ironladies play. It looks like they have a good core of experienced players and some young up and coming players. fun to watch. keep it going Ironladies

Ironladies lost a tough fough game last night. i think the difference from last year to this year is the hitting and fielding and speed of the team. other than a couple of miss played balls in last nights game it could have been a win. Warren has a very good team i don't remember any errors by them at all last night. keep up the good work ironladies and keep your head up and every thing will work out. :aaaaa92
