Hey guys. I tried posting but it's hard to do and run a camera at the same time. Great game played by NW. Very scrappy. Great adjustment at half by coach Collins to slow crabtree. Defense was GREAT! Lots of steals. Missed too many layups but it'll come. Bendolph finished with 22, Wayne had 18? Dion with 15 Tre with 4? I could be off but not by much. Technical was on Wayne coming out of a timeout when him and another NW player shared some choice words. Still a huge shame 99.3 can't carry PORTSMOUTH. Especially when there's no other teams playing.

I am going to join in old trojans e mailing wnxt and so should everyone else..if they are going to put it on stations that no one can hear outside city limits, they may as well just stay home!!

gues,,I am a slow texter..and also get into the games when they are close...so sometimes Im a few points behind......I really do not know how caglewis does it and keeps up wit the game

anyway,,,a good hard fought win for the trojans,I did not expect anything less out of Northwest,,you knew they would come to play, good job by the trojans hanging in,,every time we got a 10 point lead the mowhawks would hit key shots to get it back under 10,,and we would keep getting key shots to get it back over.

great crowd..and a full student section for the trojans!!

Glad to see Andrew Bendolph get his 1000th point tonite, as he only needed one point to break the 1000 point barrier. He nearly got it done in the sectionals last week, and they would've stopped the game in order to acknowldge the feat. I know the Portsmouth contingent would've really liked to have joined in on celebrating the accomplishment as well. Most importantly the Trojans come away with the win last week and this week. And as I heard Andrew say, ''I'd rather get a 1000 wins than my 1000th point.''

Hats off to coach Scarberry and the Mohawks,a well coached and scrappy bunch of kids who came into this game and played their butts off and have absolutely nothing to hang their heads about. The Trojans seemed like they came ready to play tonight with a swarming defense that eventually took its toll in the fourth quarter, and simply wore the Mohawks down.
Coach Collins and his staff done a great job in exploiting the Mohawks weakness, which was a size advantage, and a short bench rotation. The Men of Troy must continue to improve and peak at the right time of the second season, the Trojans best basketball is yet to come and has not been displayed thus far during tourney time.Go Trojans..........

Trojans have come a long way since rejoining the SEOAL.

Looks like the Trojans have some outstanding material coming up if they all stay together and work hard in the off-season.

The Trojans' DEFENSE was OUTSTANDING after the 1st quarter........holding the Mohawks to only 29 points the rest of the way........I give Coach Scarberry and his kids a lot of credit because they had a good game plan and executed it well........but the Trojans got the job done in the clutch again.

Very encouraged to see our DEFENSE play to that level.........it was MUCH BETTER than the South Point game.

Congratulations to Andrew Bendolph on scoring 1,000+ points in his career........he stepped up like a true leader with a HUGE 3 pointer in the 4th quarter and also some outstanding defense which resulted in several steals near midcourt.

18-4 and moving on to the district finals........GO TROJANS!!!

Trojandave you stated from day one that defense was the key to this season. From the scores I have wriiten in my stats page, you were 100% correct. This team has been playing outstanding defense. Win and advance Trojans!
