GAHS - 9
EHS - 6
GAHS has a soon to be beautiful baseball field. Once the grass comes in and we get a few nice days of Spring weather Bob Eastman field will no doubt be one of the best in SE Ohio. My only complaint about the field is the direction in which it sits, all 3 outfielders (mostly RF & CF) have to battle the sun.
GAHS jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 1st while batting around. EHS tied things up in the top of the 2nd 3-3. Then Gallia added 3 more in the middle innings to take a 6-3 lead. Eastern then tallied 3 of their own to tie things up again at 6. The Blue Devils struck once more for 3 in the bottom of the 6th to take a 9-6 advantage into the 7th. The Eagles got the tying run on 1st base when Caleb Warnimont shut the door.
