SEOAL Predictions

Post by ChillSoftball »

Here's my take on all of it

1. Warren
2. Gallia
3. Logan
4. Jackson
5. Marietta
6. Portsmouth
7. Chillicothe

I know that Gallia has lost Noe so I'm giving my nod to Warren because of them returning their SPs. Logan is always strong. Jackson to Chilli are a toss-up but I just don't think that Chillicothe has the SPs to compete within the league so I pick them last. Marietta has to get better innings out of their SPs and losing Hutchinson was big. Portsmouth still has a good starter and should be poised to rebound.

Yes, I believe he is under estimating Chillicothe. They beat Portsmouth and the pitcher they have back 3 or 4 times last year. I look for them to give every team a good game. They just seem to put it together at tourney time last year. Losing only one starter they should come out strong and hungry this year. Playing on a new field they can call theirs also will be a big plus.

I'm probably underestimating Chillicothe but I don't know that much about them. I've only seen them play and that was two years ago. I believe that their coach was new that year and they looked horrible. They played hard but that's all I know about them. I'm sure they're "better" now but I'm more of a "river rat" as far as teams go. If Chillicothe is that much better than the SEOAL could really be wide-open this year.

How have the SEOAL teams looked in the scrimmages? Any injuries that we know of?

After 12-4 (not sure of final score) win over Logan, GAHS now 10-0 overall and 5-0 in SEOAL play.
