Did everyone just quit talking about the game or what?


I guess the talking up of the game will be settled on the court Saturday at 5pm.

Not really a whole lot to talk about........this is not your first rodeo and this is not Ironton's first rodeo.......we both know what to expect from each other, I dont make predictions nor do I feel qualified to discuss either coach's game plan........just like in late August, strap the pads on, get your ticket, gas the car up, stock the cooler with appropriate beverages and head north..........

Game time temp for Athens will be middle 50s and sunny.......parking will be at a premium with the Oak Hill ladies playing at 3:00 in their regional championship game and the Buckeyes playing at 1:40 (if they win tomorrow) so I plan on arriving early and getting a seat in BDUBs and anyone wanting to discuss the game is more than welcome to join our table.....

Will this game still be played? Ironton won't have class Friday due to the closure of the flood gates and high water is currently covering north bound lane of 93 near Pedro. Supposed to get even higher until Monday, I've heard.

I would think the only way this would happen is if the county declared a state of emergency or something like that, but I never heard of this happening.

I just don't see 52, 23 or 32 being flooded so everyone can go that way. Will take a little longer but you can get there that way.

I like Ironton's athleticism in this one, but the hard nosed defense and quality fundamentals of the Pirates will keep it real close. From an outsider I am really looking forward to this game. Should be a good physical game with two good teams and coaches.

Should take about an hour and 45 minutes. You will hit 93 just 3 miles from Oak Hill. 140 has no flooding on it.
