Top Returning players...

Post by socman »

Who are your top returning players for the upcoming year?

It should be another exciting year in the district!

Wavelry will have a strong team with Chris Wiget, Kennedy Roseberry, Caleb Brown, Brady Collins, and a strong sophomore class.

I agree that Waverly will be strong. Waverly could go very far next year. Wheelersburg will give them a good fight also.

Peebles will have a decent team this season. I think another sectional championship is a possiblity.

I expect Josh Denzik of Peebles to have a really strong season.

Unioto girls return EVERYONE from a team who went 17-2-2 and reached the Elite 8 in D2. They lacked some depth last year, but have a strong freshman class coming in that should add to that depth as they push for a state title.

Waverly boys have loads of talent, but will they be able to pull it together to get to the next level? The Eastern teams in the district(that have dominated lately) seem to have lost a good bit of their talent, so I could see this as the year that Waverly makes a run at a district title.
