I watched it on STO in HD and thought the referees did a good job overall.

The travel call on Adkins or Strite when she ran into the opponent around midcourt and the ball bounced away......worst travel call in basketball history...it was either a block, charge or a no call.....I guess travel was the 4th best option.

The Lady Oaks were met and led through Jackson county by many sirened vehicles about 30 minutes ago....pretty neat stuff and well earned.

poor officiating for the oaks everytime we got pushed down it was a trip when anna fell down it was a push and foul on us. Refs need to quit favoring one team over the other the refs wanted anna to win the state not the oaks i am proud of you lady oaks great game it was the refs who cost you the state title.

The refs might make a diffrence in a four to five point game, but this was a 18 point blowout..As I said above and a couple others concured, the better team won today...

Come on people don't complain about officiating. Obviously, Oak Hill should be very proud of their season. But to complain about officiaiting after the way you guys beat up teams during the regular season with your full court style is funny.

Congrats on a GREAT SEASON

Whats funny is you slam us and then give us a congrats???? just Keep it. But if ya ever wanna come to an Oaks game and discuss the finer points of basketball, or any of you keyboard warriors for that matter, please feel free to look me up. I always sit half court half way up, Just yell Ryan, or PFunk, if I dont hear ya someone will point me out. I love making new friends. Cant wait for next year. Hopefully I get to meet lots of new people from here and make lots of new friends.

Well at least they lost to a public school. On this one day Anna was the better team but if OH would have hit a few shots early on I feel it would have been a different game.

It was good that Anna was a public school. The same can't be said for the D-IV and D-II champs.

Obviously when Oak Hill lost a starter at the end of the season...that hurt them. While they did get to state, they almost didn't get out of the district, having to play catch-up in many tournament games. That was playing with fire and there wasn't any gas left in the tank when they played Anna. Two games in 24 hours didn't help either.

your welcome. If that is true about the girl from west should really be a good fit to our program. Excited to see what happens. It would give some of these people something else to be upset about with all the transfers we have. LOL

i thought the player control foul called on strite towards the end of the third qtr i believe was the turning point. was a clear block foul call as the anna player dove into her legs. oaks lose the on that possession and anna score on the ensuing possession. state runner up is nothing to be ashamed about. as a fellow official you hate to see a poor call impact the game so much as oak hill was only down by 4 or 5 i believe. i do think the better team won though. congrats on a great season Lady Oaks.

side note: if you think the officiating was poor in this game, did anyone stay to watch the D1 championship. the female official in that game totally changed the game in the second half.

bryanc45,
The way I see it the girl from West would be considered a move in, not a transfer - provided they move into the disrict.

yes your right she would be if it happens, but i am just saying it is funny how people make a big deal out of our ladies because they transfer to our school. It makes me laugh.
