4 good pitchers, Stalley-Newsome-Sparks with Vanderpool in the wigns. Only seen three pitchers @ S.V. Sat. The first 2 games Sat vs S.V. and Ironton burg clearly was the better team. The Wellston game ended in a tie but there were a couple of starters who didn't play and had several reserve players playing and still tied.Wheelersburg coaches are outstanding! Looks like its going to be a better season for the pirates. Good luck!

If the "not shaking hands" after the valley loss is correct then someone needs to sit down with some of these young ladies and have a talk about the correct way to respond to a loss. Win with class and lose with class ladies.

tough start by burg standards. the downfall in the games I have seen is the D, way to many errors. Future looks bright though, underclassmen have really been stepping up in big games and delivering big hits.
