Chesapeake vs. Portsmouth - Regional Final - 3-19

33 teams started the SE D3 tournament........and now only 2 remain........whatever the outcome of tonight's game, both schools have had GREAT seasons!!

Making it to the regional final in SE D3 is never easy, and is something to be very proud of!!

The SE District will have a team in the state tournament!!

I believe Scott passed away from cancer........I think he was 48 at the time........I remember how important he was to the 78 Trojans........great role player.........outstanding rebounder........totally unselfish.........a big part of that team's wonderful chemistry.......he was also a starter on the 1979 21-1 Trojans who won the AP Poll title that year with a perfect 18-0 regular season mark.

And Ozzie i added those games also with or without them they are still a team just like i added the games Colin Kennedy and Austin Mcmaster missed for Peake. They are still a team so i saw no reason not to add those scores.

want to wish both teams luck,of course I will be hopeing for a Trojan win, but I will support the team that wins this one in the finals...both school have a lot to be proud of,they have both had great seasons no matter the outcome of this game hope every one has a safe trip to and from Athens.

This will not be a classic. This will be yet just another lopsided game for the Peake. Every team always says they can hang with the Peake. THen......they come back here & say the Peake was better than they realized. Portsmouth - good season - -but its over. Peake will by 20 or so....when coach decides to put in bench. Peake has played better teams this year...& whipped them. Portsmouth will be just like the rest.

Good luck to both teams from Piketon. The Chef still remembers '09 like it was yesterday when my Redstreaks made the dreams come true for so many. Well, I guess the Peake will have their subs in the game by the end of the 1st qtr..maybe this way my poor little Trojans will stay within the same zip code as the Peake..I sure hope the Panthers show some mercy and let their subs play a lot and rest the starters for the state...PHS will show up and they will play hard and smart..on paper the Peake is the team that should go all the way...however,,,,do not overlook the Trojans! wipalawalt
