Last summer, Trojandave said Portsmouth looked good during summer play, and might have a chance to go to Columbus this spring. After a slow start, PHS ripped off 15 straight wins (I think) and next week, will play in the 2011 state semifinals. Congrats Portsmouth.

I want to send my congrats to the city of Portsmouth from a Chillicothe fan!!! This is a special time and I want all of you to enjoy this moment and go up to Columbus and win a State Championship! I want to also send my congrats to Mr. Trojan Dave. This man has always rooted for my Chilly team (except when they were playing the trojans) and I love it that he and the city of Portsmouth get to take a ride up route 23 to the Schott!!!!!!!!! One last thing.... This is nothing personal but a lot of peake fans thought they had this state thing wrapped up.. Nothing is a guarantee in the tournaments!!

I saw Portsmouth twice against Logan and was very, very impressed not only with their athleticism but with how well they played together. With their athleticism, I thought they had a chance to make a LOT of tournament noise as long as they continued to play well together.

Now, Trojans, go out and get a state title -- first for Portsmouth, second for all of Southeast Ohio, and third for the SEOAL! I'm, an SEOAL man through and through and I couldn't be happier for the school, the players, the coaches and the Portsmouth fans!!

Contests to our friends down on St Rt 23. This Chilly fan has been a big Trojan supporter for years. Way to represent your school, your city, the SEOAL and the Southeast. To trojandave, biggdowgg and the others, I am proud of you guys for sticking with this program.

I hope Coach Collins gets all the credit he deserves. To get to the Final Four takes more than talent. It takes a leader who can coach and inspire.

Finally, kudos to the Peake for an outstanding run. That staff and team define excellence.

Wow What a game.....Congrats P-town from Waverly will be looking for your bus heading north Thursday evening. The Trojans won on the court and in the stands The Cheer Block was awesome. So much for a 10+ point win Peake fans hope you can still get your refunds on the hotels in Columbus. Big Props to Tre Underwood who did a number on Kennedy who was no where to be found until he fouled out. AB simply did what AB does. Lookout SCHOTT the Trojans are Coming!!!!
