Scrimmages for Friday/Sat ?

Post by ManitouDan »

who is playing and at what time ? ND is off, unless we make up a scrimmage . Rained out on wed at Valley, today is undecided as of now , scheduled at West but needless to mention the weather is not good for softball. MD

Jackson Ironladies went on a weekend scrimmage trip towards Cincinnati. Scrimmaged @ Eastern Brown on Friday. Went to dine @ a very nice restaurant called Butter Bees. Stayed @ Hampton Inn in Eastgate Mall, then went to New Richmond to scrimmage Saturday at noon on a TURF infield softball field, natural grass outfield. Very nice field & very good trip for the Ironladies.

Good Luck on the Season Ladies!

watched some Valley/Rock Hill yesterday . 1st of all the complex at RH is totally outstanding. most area colleges don't have a set up like that. RH looks pretty good, freshman pitcher looked good. good athelets at every position. Same for Valley but they have 2 super pitchers and tons of experience . I'd guess score was around 7 or 8 -1 when we left. K koch homered off the fair pole in LF . Valley is the real deal. Will be hard to beat . MD
