Double header at Jackson cancelled due to weather last Sunday.

Rock Hill at Burg cancelled due to limited players for RH on Monday.

Burg over Minford on Tuesday.

West at Burg cancelled due to weather on Wednesday

Portsmouth at Burg cancelled due to limited players for Portsmouth.

Next up for the Pirates is a Double Header at Ironton at 1:00 on Sunday the 3rd of April.

The Coal Grove team has about 11 players and 4 or 5 of them are 7th graders. We didn't have enough for 2 separate teams this year, numbers are down.

Burg 8th won the first game at Jackson.

The second game was called due to darkness with Jackson leading 4-3 and the Pirates with a runner on first and no outs.

Tonight, it was the 8th Pirates over the Clay Panthers

The game at Coal Grove has been cancelled for tomorrow.

Saturday, the 8th travels up to Huntington, WVa. and to Waverly for a doubleheader on Sunday.

Valley 7th over West 7th 11 to 7 at valley Friday night ... play them again monday at west

The Wheelersburg 8th grade game at Huntington W.Va. Hounds today was moved to the Burg due to the field not in shape to play in Huntington. The Hounds came to Wheelersburg and they only got 1 1/2 innings in with the Burg leading 1-0 before the rains washed it out.

Tomorrow is the doubleheader at Waverly beginning at 1:00.

The Pirates host West on Tuesday and are on the road the rest of the week. Wednesday at Greenup County DH, Friday at Russell DH, at Rock Hill on Saturday and at Ironton DH on Sunday.
