What are your predictions on how good River is going to be this year? I saw on another site a couple of posters were predicting a .500 or better season. I'd think they would be improved, since they were so young, but I wasn't think they'd be that much better.

River also lost top Rb MCCallom. They will be better but will be wek up front.Teams like Caldwell,MC,Magnolia,Fort Frye, and Doah will try to pound the football down Rivers throat.

Getting coach Frye back will make a world of difference for River's defense. They did start a LOT of freshmen and sophomores. I'd say with the same schedule as a year ago it'll be tough to crack .500 but anything's possible. It will be interesting to see the younger Wright kid kick. Heard he's drilling them from 40 with ease.

Sounds like it could be a really close game.Fort Frye has to replace the loss of 7Srs.Including QB,TE,HB,T,C,and all WR.The Lang boys and the returning lineman will be really good baring no injuries.

for one, Fort Frye. The others will more than likely be Bridgeport, Shenandoah, Frontier, and Buckeye Trail.

I have hard time thinking they will beat Fort Frye and Shenandoah.I think 3 maybe 4 if the beat Ntown is more reasonble. They play to tough of a schedule for the teams talent level.Fort Frye should be healthy come week 1.Chandler Lang is an upgrade from Watson.Yea it might take him a few games but he will be very good.Fort Frye game will be closer this year then it was the last 2 years but I still give FF the edge.

If Bridgeport only lost 9 seniors, 6 of which were starters, compared to the 18 starters that you suggested earlier, I can't see the Pilots winning that game.

I'm sure that River will be better.Caldwell probably has improved.I heard the skills players have a problem with drops.

Rivers overall team speed is good. Last couple of years they have been so small compared to everyone else. Couldnt tackle anybody that had decent size. That shouldnt be near as much of an issue this year with most putting on 10-15 pounds in the off season. With the return of Coach Frye on defense the moral and attitude is already improving. If these kids get some confidence and believe they can win after 2 bad seasons they may surprise some people.

Any new thoughts with the game being only a little over a week away? Judging by the scrimmages the return of Coach Frye has made a big impact on Rivers D.

Fort Frye lost a big lineman in Riley and replaced him 140 pound lineman Justin Massey.

Why such a late addition? Who is River's #2 quarterback? He looked pretty good last week. Very nice arm. Seems a little more mobile than Caldwell.

Rivers #2 QB is Logan Lucas, sat out the last few years because of eligibility issues. It will be nice to actually have a #2 QB this year! lol Glad to see Brown back on the roster, wish he would of been there from the start though. He has alot of catching up to do.
