Freshman Colton Wright, Tanners younger brother, looks pretty decent at field goals & extra points. Dont think he is going to be kicking off or punting yet though.

That's great on Wright on the XPs. Hope he gets plenty of chances Friday and all season. Did Asturi get better shoulder pads than the ones he wore in the last scrimmage. Was told he hurt his shoulder but should be ready for the Fort. River needs him in the lineup.

Great about Asturi. I really think that Jordan Sapp kid will have a great season. If QB Caldwell is anything like his dad he'll be very reliable leading the team.

Goodluck to River. My parents will be celebrating their 50th year of graduating from River. I believe next weekend is the alumni weekend there.

River is a better team then Fort Frye. Not big but quick on defense.Fort Frye just did not bring it until late.

River prepared well and didn't make any mistakes. Fort Frye has some good athletes and should be fun to watch throughout the year.

Either Fort Frye isn't quite as good as I thought, or River has improved a good bit from last season, or a mixture of both. Kind of a surprise to me. Guess it's time to start buying a little bit into the hype on River.

River has improved alot since last year. The return of Tim Frye as defensive coordinator has made a huge difference in play and attitude on that side of the ball. Offensive line the weakest link right now, still coming together. Hopefully they will show improvement this week. Should be able to move the ball on NC.I drain 3's wrote:Either Fort Frye isn't quite as good as I thought, or River has improved a good bit from last season, or a mixture of both. Been telling people since spring that River wasn't going to be the same team as last year but people told me I didn't know what I was talking about. I will say it again River is not a team to be taken lightly this year !!!!!!!! Welcome back Coach Frye !
