What can you guys tell me about him?
6'1"-230-MLB-definately looks like a D1 prospect.

Re: Luke Thompson-Circleville Logan Elm
Luke doesn't know me from Adam, but I remember him quite well. One thing I can tell you for sure. When he was enrolled at Vinton County as a freshman, he was a HITTER!!!
He needed a lot of technique work and experience, but he was not afraid of the big boys and would step right up and hit anything moving in his direction.
To me, that makes him LB material. I'm fairly sure he got good coaching at LE and would help anybody at the next level.
Hated to see him leave VC territory. Good luck to you Luke.

I seen him play. He definetly has the size and is physical. But to be honest, if you asking about D1, he has know way near the speed or lateral movement. But, he is a nice player

Luke is like a freight train on blitzes. He is (as put earlier) not afraid of going head to head with anyone. Hopefully, he can get to go to a D-1 school.

Known him since we were kids at VC. His speed definatly wont be a problem now. I still talk to him and hes doing speed training, hes working with bands and other techniques, doing track, and he has the work ethic to where nothing holds him back. I believe any college can turn him into something greater

They have recruited heavily recently at this position since MLB Noah Keller will graduate.vikings52 wrote:Just researched a little and hes also Ranked 75th by Scout.com in the Top 100 players in all of Ohio and the 2nd Ranked Middle Linebacker

Me thinks if he gets an offer or walks on at OU that he could get some PT.
