I sure hope they remove those poles that are only 5 yards from the field.

The poles that I am talking about are only 2 to 3 foot tall, used to seperate the track and football field.Maybe you can't see over them but I can.     I can also see the possibility of serious injury because of them.

With the best player this year in the TVC, can the Rockets run the table and win the TVC? They will have a great offense and a defense that can hit with anybody in the league.

As an old SEOAL guy from Logan, I remember the old days, Wellston, Jackson,Gallia & Logan would be the toughest games around.. I would love to see Wellston have a great year... Good Luck!

The pictures in the paper and the article make it look as if Wellston did well with their newer facility pieces.

Just looked at the pictures in the newspaper. Very impressive, especially the locker room and the weight room. Definitely a great thing for the Wellston program.

Also noticed something else in the newspaper. The Four Quarter Brawl Trophy that is a traveling trophy that goes to the winner of the Jackson-Wellston game. I never even knew this existed. Anyone else know about this?

I'm sure it might not even be over yet, but can someone let us know how Wellston's scrimmage at Portsmouth went tonight?

Wow. I'll be interested to hear some details. Obviously just a scrimmage, but a positive sign for the Trojans.

ironman02.....This Four Quarter Brawl trophy was part of ESPN RISE UP project. It's new.

It's a pretty cool trophy. Glass trophy — half Jackson, half Wellston.

Some pictures are posted of the renovation on our website http://www.timesjournal.com.

Thanks for the details. Sounds like Mason Jordan is gonna be tough to handle in the SEOAL this season.

Who are Wellston's backs this season?
