ND is at Northwest for a DH starting at 2pm. starting late since it's ACT weekend. ND is 5-0. Nortwest is ?? 3-2 or 4-2 maybe 5-2 ? lost last 2 times out getting shutout by Oak Hill and Minford . Suprising, NW was swinging the bats very well, hitting HR after HR. Should be a good DH . MD

Clay cancelled due to rain. May have gotten one game in if White Oak had arrived on time. Can't blame swap days at the fairground because they did the same thing last year in tournaments. Maybe they need to plan ahead a little better.

this many rainouts sucks, we have played 2 of our regularly scheduled games heading into the 3rd week of the season. the other 3 games we have played were add-ons to the regular schedule. I knew when NW cancelled with us on Tues when their fields were playable that it would bite us in the backside. Last sunday was beautiful and tommorrow is supposed to be a high of 87 and a 10% chance of rain but no one will agree to play on sunday.

If you know it might rain on Mon(60% chance per weather channel) why not play tommorrow ?

Jackson has already played 9 games. Played in some challenging conditions in most of the games....but both teams in the same boat.

Well if you want them to plan ahead and get there when they should maybe the people in charge at Clay should've known the weather forecast was calling for a considerable amount of rain starting around noon-1:00 pm....maybe they could've called Friday afternoon and moved the starting time to 10:00 am.

Well, I would have loved a 10:00 game myself, but my understanding was it had been scheduled at 12:00 so White Oak wouldn't have to leave their homes and school at such an early hour. The point is, if you're going to start a game at 12:00, should't you get to the field at 11:30 instead of 12:45? I think White Oak had more to gain by calling Clay and asking for a change in starting time. Unfortunately, they had to make the long trip home.

people from various cultures gather to sell live animals at the county fairground. Seemingly bringing together 1000's of humans and 10,000 live animals. Much beer, wine , whiskey, pot , crank, crack, oxy and various other substances are field tested also. and just a few firearms/ammunition are available.

I heard a whiteoak person say their bus got in the " freak show" thats why they were late getting the Clay game. it's a rather unique experience.

This happens one weekend each month thru the summer & on that weekend traffic is lined up and down st rt 23 for miles and miles.....Same thing on 348, traffic backed up for miles....

They leave the right hand lane open on 23 for through traffic traveling southbound. No excuse not to be there on time. swap days wasn't the reason the game was canceled. The teams could have easily played 5 innings if Whiteoak would have showed up on time. Last years sectional game @ Clay, Whiteoak showed up 30 minutes after game time and it wasn't swap days. Enough said!
