Boiler, I think you've finally "Boiled Over" (pun intended). You all might finish 3rd with a little luck. IMO only of course :122249

Its early and anything can happen to change the fate of a team ,injuries , turnovers , mistakes any number of things . I know what Ive seen out of our kids this off season and it is positive. We will have a strong senior class a even stronger junior class some soph that will contribute. A good mix ,and a little depth for a change. This will be a great year for the Rockets provided none of the above happens . Nothing short of a TVC title and a playoff birth will be accepted by this group of kids they are ready to change a program this all started last year with the Rockets being competitive in every game with a young team last year.

Like I said I think everyone will be playing for second !

GO ROCKETS!!!!

Boiler does this every year, and every year his Rockets finish in the basement......I say they can finish as high as third this year...

NY WILL win the TVC Ohio, and Athens should finish second. After that it will be a crap shoot for third place.

I personally believe the 7 on 7's are overrated and I don't put a lot of stock in them (sorta like preseason games in pro ball). Don't get me wrong because they do help prepare you for the long run during the season.

The core group of players for NY from the past few seasons will be Seniors this year. If NY won the TVC with this core group as sophomores and won the TVC again with this core group as juniors, there is no reason to think they won't win it again as seniors. And after this season, there is a nice group of players waiting in the wings to replace the starters, as is typical at NY. The tradition continues. Go Bucks!

Was Alexander installing turf? For some reason, I'm thinking I read that in the Messenger awhile back.

1/2 of the TVC ohio will have turf, would like to see a supporters for Meigs and Vinton County try to get funds to put turf in their stadiums.

I am pretty sure Meigs is installing turf at the field at the high school. I think I have read someplace that their doing a new sports complex or something like that. Also, it will not be ready this year is what I remember

yes they do have a nice facility, but having turf would make it first class, even somewhere that could host a playoff game.

As much as I hate to say it, but until it happens NY is the top dog. I do think Athens will be in the mix, with welston, alex, . Meigs and VC will bring up the rear...

NY will takes its lumps in its non conference schedule, going 2-3 or 3-2, then cruise along until the Athens game week 10 which is always a classic game.

I don't think Wellston will win more than 4 games this year.... They will beat V.C. and maybe Meigs...... Wellston will be bringing up the rear as usual.
