The official roster is now set with a few changes
Dion Mckinley (portsmouth)
Wayne Evans (portsmouth)
Austin Mcmaster (chesapeake)
Jacob Wells (chesapeake)
Blaine Fuller (fairland)
Evan Salyers (fairland)
Toquan Hayes (Huntington High)
Darian Shackleford (Huntington High)
Josh Peirson (Huntington St. Joe)
Cole Schull (Cable Midland)
So McMaster is no longer playing with CBIZ? A report a few weeks ago from Ohiohshoops had him listed on their 2011 roster. Same question really with Evans. He played with All-Ohio Purple earlier in the year and ive heard he was possibly playing with HC Force out of Columbus.

Elijah King, Nate Demoss, Shaquan Miller, Tyquan Sayles, Kurt Trotter, Tyler Martin, and Wes Moltrey from Huntington High. This tournament had teams from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Venazuela, etc.... These boys represented the tri-state and their schools well. After the beginning of June there is no limit on the number of kids from each high school.

You may attend camps, clinics and workshops that
involve team play any time between June 1 and
July 31.

• Team play means there is more than one player
opposing one player.

• There is no limit on the number of students from
the same school team that may participate on the
same non-school team from June 1 to July 31.

You may receive instruction from a coach from a
school team only:

1. During the season of the sport, or

2. For 10 days only from June 1 to July 31.
Note: Interscholastic coaches in the individual
sports of bowling, golf, gymnastics, swimming &
diving and tennis may coach athletes from the
school where employed outside the interscholastic
season of the sport.

Individual skill instruction may be received in any
sport by a squad member at any time in individual
lessons provided that these individual skill
instructions do not violate any Board of
Education, school administrators’ or coaches’ policies.
Again, however, the school coach may not
conduct individual or group lessons for a squad
member in a team sport except during June 1 to
July 31 and during the season of the sport.

Members of a school football team may play in
non-contact football contests and attend non-contact
team football camps at any time between June
1 and July 31. Remember, however, that the 10-
day regulation for instruction from school coaches
is in effect.

Note: It is a violation if a coach suggests your participation
in an instructional program is mandatory.

Just got back from the Eddie Ford Hoopfest in Louisville Kentucky. Awesome event with top talent from across the country participating(Two or three teams from Canada and one from Australia was also in attendance). There was 100 teams playing in the 17U division. I was there to watch the Royals Select team play but while wondering around in between their games I was able to catch an Elite Basketball Club Purple game which had a few players from our area playing(Dion McKinley and Wayne Evans from Portsmouth, and Blake Yates from Lucasville Valley). I was very impressed with the amount of exposure each team recieved. There was probably over 150 college coaches in attendance, many of them at the D1 level. Just walking around I was able to spot Tom Crean from Indiana and Chris Mack from Xavier plus numerous assistants from Kentucky, Ohio State, Michigan, Georgetown, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Butler, Florida, etc... I would definately recommend anyone involved with aau to make the trip in the future.

Will there be any local players in the Hoopgroup West Virginia Jam Fest in Morgantown tomorrow? I know for a fact that the Royals Select team and OBC(Malik London) will be there.

The southern Ohio magic just came back from Hoop Mountain in Pittsburg P.A. Where they played in the hoop stars of America tourney. It was a big Nike tourney they took Lands from Eastern pike,Lightle from Western pike,Knipp from rock hill, Eisnaugle from Jackson, Swords from south Webster, and Pickett from eastern pike . The boys were very compititive but in the end just didn't have the size. But it was a great experience for them to learn from . But there were some huge teams there one they played went 6'7 and up as starters our biggest was 6'5 Eisnaugle and smallest probably being Lightle 5'9ish hard to board againt that but they played hard and had fun.
