The Cincinnati Royals Select were beaten in the Sweet Sixteen at Nationals. They will now play in the consolation bracket but the highest place they can get is 9th for the tournament. All Ohio Red is in the Elite Eight at Nationals after beating a tough Houston Hoops team by 14. They play the Geogia Stars at 2:30 to decide who goes to the final four. This will be their biggest test of the tourny thus far as the Stars are loaded with big time talent. Two of the Stars' anchors in the post are Tony Parker(6'9" 280 PF/C) and Alex Poythress(6'8" Combo Forward), both are consensus top 30 national recruits.

Just got my laptop back up and running.

All Ohio Red won by 4 this morning and will play in the CHAMPIONSHIP game at 4:00p.m. (I was told it was 3:00p.m. but the site says 4:00p.m.) against Memphis YOMCA. I am not sure if the Championship will be LIVE on ESPN-U but it will be on there at some time. You can watch the replay of the 8:00a.m. game and also check out the championship game at 4:00p.m. online at http://www.ESPN3.com

It is 29-28 Memphis at halftime. Kretzer played the entire first period but sat the 2nd. Turnovers are plentiful as are missed FT's for both teams. Macon with 8 points, 7 rebounds, 1 block, 1 steal.

Final 60-48 All Ohio Red AAU NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
Macon sat the entire second half. Scott with 14 of his 16 points in the 2nd half, 7 rebounds.

Kretzer with a key 3 pointer to extend the lead to 9. They were never really challanged after that as the lead never got below 10.
