Re: SG Rebels 2011-2012
I say not playing because of the coaches is dumb!!! Just an excuse not to play. Just suck the pride up and play. Have a good senior season.

The improvement in SG sports the last several years is great. I look for the Runnin Rebels to contend for the league this year.
Re: SG Rebels 2011-2012
I agree 100% but if a player is not all in they will end up being a distraction so it's probably best he didn't come out. It's a shame because the kid did have some talent. Looking forward to start ofthe season!BBallin fool wrote:What I mean you only have 1 High School career!!! Don't look back at age 25 and say should of played.

Young, very young

Basketball has some nice young talent coming so I expect them to continue to compete. No doubt football lost alot of talent so it will be rebuilding year which is fine as long as playoff appearances are mixed in every few years. I actually think SG will have as many if not more kids out for football next year.Runnin rebels wrote:Blue_nd_Gray wrote:What do next years Football and Basketball teams look like talent wise?lightsout1 wrote:The improvement in SG sports the last several years is great. Speaking of playoffs, Buckeye Central has rolled to state semi-finals. I knew when SG drew BC that we got the top team in the region. Have beaten three opponents by a total score of 123-7.

SG should do well!!! Problem is going to be what it was last year...DEPTH!!! I've heard that both Nolan and Phillips decided not to play!!! They're only hurting themselves!!!
Re: SG Rebels 2011-2012
... I'd say let's support the South Gallia boyz who DID take the floor ... lots of talent in that first 5 that SG put out on the floor Friday night ... good size/bulk, can shoot the 3 ball ... all 5 starters are seniors (varsity experience) AND they win my ALL Facial Hair TEAM award !!! seriously though it's time to let those who decided to sit this season out - disappear ... put the names out there of those kids that are working hard to get SG into the TVC title hunt AND back to Basketball Thirty at the Convo ...
