You guys have an incredible grounds crew. Honestly , I was amazed at how good the infield looked when Clay came out to play. (outfield was a little sketchy but hey, what can you do?)

The grounds grew (lol) tryed a variety of things to help the OF that day, we took a long lead post and hammered holes in the ground hoping the hole would fill with water ( some did , most did'nt) we dug holes and dipped water , we pushed water with brooms . Ultimately it just wouldn't go away. this year we are just going to have to tolerate a bad OF. or forget over 1/2 the season.

The grounds crew had to work their real jobs today, would not have mattered with al the rain that started at 3-4 pm

Alexander will try to host Galia this afternoon. We have people working on the field already. We'll see if mother nature will give us a break.
