This will be the official final score. This was the score thru 6 innings as the 7th was not completed due to storm which rolled in and halted the game.

Do we have a final on Portsmouth-Marietta game?

Some miscommunication on the Gallipolis at Alexander game. It was not played after it was announced Wednesday that it would be played. Jottings went with GAHS-4-Ever to Alexander where the girls were scheduled at the last minute for a makeup game. Found out on the way to Albany the boys game was called off by someone. Don't know if it was GAHS or Alexander. When we got there, nobody was at the Spartan's baseball field. By the way, Alexander's girls handed the Blue Angles their first loss in 16 games, 12-2, in a five-inning contest.

Alex probably canceled so they can keep their record in tact for tournament draw. Hopefully not, but I would say some teams are doing this.

Fields are not going to be perfect, if you can play you should play!!!!

Regulator- I hope that's not the case, as a win there would've been huge for them going into the tournament. I hate that teams do this(and you know they do)

If the field is dry and there is no danger to anyone if you play on it, then you should always play. It's not like we're getting great weather everyday, just gotta man up and play the games!
