Post by old-timer »

Ironladies get back on the winning track with a solid TEAM victory over the viciting Lady Chiefs. After holding Logan scoreless in the top of the 1st, the Ironladies scored 3 in the bottom 1/2 of the first, then added 7 more in the second to take a 10 -0 advantage. In the top of the third, the Lady Chieftains put some nice hits together With some real speed on the bases to get 4 runs back. The Ironladies continued hitting the ball sharp & put 2 on inthe bottom of the 3rd, then 3 more runs in the bottom of the 4th to take a 15 - 4 advantage, Logan would add a run in the top of the 5th on a smashing line drive off the top of the left field fence for a double lead-off the inning. She would score about 3 pitches later, the final being a pass ball.

Ironladies record improves to 10-6. They continue SEOAL play on Friday when Portsmouth comes to visit the Ironladies.

Keep up the good work Ironladies!!!
