PVC Pre-season Talk
Re: PVC Pre-season Talk
Heard through the vine that MC didn't look too good today. The lines have miles and miles to go before week 1. Strasburg line did as the pleased with MC. Didn't go... just what I heard.
Re: PVC Pre-season Talk
Just curious who did the quarterbacking for the Noles? Usually the line is one of MC's strengths. I guess they have a couple weeks to get it ironed out because Columbiana will be a little tougher than a PVC opponent, i'm bettin'.
Re: PVC Pre-season Talk
Kinchen.
I think they graduated most of the line. New guys trying to get use to each other.

So did anyone get to see the Caldwell scrimmage on Saturday? Wondering how well the offense looked.

Hey SD. C.J. Wise at 6'4". See what number they give us Bad A$$es. You don't believe me, ask the mayor.
On a lighter note, I can't believe I didn't see you at the Alumni.
Goodluck Seminoles!!

Loaded at the skill positions. Loaded may be an under statement. If Jay gets the kinks with out on the line this team will be fun to watch.
Re: PVC Pre-season Talk
he'll have the offensive line worked out. it's all about angles and leverage. The big thing is getting them to fire off the ball. from what I heard Wise was held out of the scrimmage and he's obviously our biggest lineman on both sides of the ball.CN2 wrote:NorthernLight wrote:Monroe Central Preview on WTOV TV 9

At this level having a huge line is overrated. The only final 4 team in MC/WHS history didn't have a lineman over 200 lbs. Lack of size will show against Ursuline and other teams with large, fast lineman but I doubt many teams on our schedule has that.
Re: PVC Pre-season Talk
I just got a call that Monroe dman handeled Bridgeport tonight. Two 12 minute quarters, 27-0. Bridgeport didn't even move the ball I guess. MC scored first play and dominated from then on out. Looking forward to next week. GO NOLES!!
Re: PVC Pre-season Talk
Great to hear the Noles manhandled Bridgeport .I just couldn't imagine the 'Dogs being as strong up front, and basically with out those Smelley brothers and G. Price how can they possibly move the ball this year?
If i recall I think coach Graham told me a couple years ago that MC had some great 8th graders. Now they must be sophomores and learning fast.

Sorry I didn't make it brother. First one that I've missed in the 30 years. Need to go offline from here and tell you what is going on, so watch your email. 2011 has been a really tough year for me, from a family standpoint. That prevented me from attending the big "Three O".
We will catch up. Not going to have nearly the type of time that I've had the last couple of years to spend on HS football because of the family issues, but I will try to catch a few games this year. Going to be a big adjustment, after going to 10 games a year basically for the last 7 years, but I'll do what I can.
I'll email NL, be patient.

Re: PVC Pre-season Talk
Anybody know when the papers will be having their team previews? Season starts this week and I have yet to see anything, or have I just overlooked them or something?
