Watts Bar - Info Sought

Anyone ever fish there? did you camp? I have fished there before but it was back in the early 90's. It's one of the only lakes that isn't way over summer pool

Been going there the last 5 years, that place is all about timming. This year we missed by a week or so I would say anytime in the next 2 weeks it would be hot. I know there our several campgrounds, we stay at Arrowhead resort .

I looked at Douglass too and it's a couple feet or so above pool. Watts Bar, believe it or not, is 1/2 below summer pool. I know it's a beautiful lake but I don't remember much more about it. I did, however, find one campground that had a great rate of only 115 a week after the 7th of September. If I live that long, i'm going to try my best to take advantage of some fall fishing on that lake

The smallmouth fishing is usually really good in the fall. I have been a couple times in October.
